What is cheerleading?

Aviator Allstars

Cheerleading is a high energy, multi disciplined competitive sport which combines a mixture of dance, gymnastics and acrobatics. It is physically challenging, developing students' co-ordination, strength, flexibility and musicality, whilst also emphasising teamwork and most importantly trust. It is one of the fastest growing sports in the UK, with over 16,000 people from the ages of 5 to 25 practicing the sport, and more joining every year.
